Resurrection

Field Units About 30 small herds  in different parts of the State work in collaboration with the Kerala Agricultural University in conservation. The general feeling is that  Vechur cow is very suitable for farmers who require milk for home consumption and not for sale.  Many farmers are looking forward to the fulfilment of their goal.

Very good efforts by this Trust. It seems, because of her small size, this cow can be projected as domestic pet in Urban area. Many people will like to have this cow as pet in home. Even Urban area people search for good quality cow milk. Very good work by Trust.

As it is difficult to meet the demand we would suggest upgrading .This means any small cow of Kerala (If it does not belong to any particular breed)and good pedigreee bull semen can be used. For details if required you can contact .
